I got a ‘23 Grom a few months back and justified it thusly : ‘ I‘ll sell my ‘19 Monkey to fund the purchase’. I am so glad I didn’t. These new Monkeys look very cool but I wouldn’t dump my Monkey for one of them either. The original 4 speed power train seems (is) so much more solid than the 5 speed.
Extra unsolicited info: I have almost 1000 miles on the Grom now and the quality of the bike...sucks...compared to the ‘19 Monkey leaving me suspicious of the new Monkey.
