Ok so I had a deposit down forever. I ordered a black one. So finally got call this AM. RED came in ugggg.
1. What should I do
2. Anybody want to trade red for black plastics?
3. Need to call shop back ASAP .

The out the door price is $3900.00 so I'm not getting ripped off but......need help fast. Never been in this situation. To make things worst I had hip replaced and this may be my only way to get around. I know you guys can help me out so let the advice fly

Amusingly, I ordered red back in May and only one came in...it was black. It has really grown on me. It is actually a deep metallic charcoal, very sharp and as has been mentioned, the plastics are quite cheap to change out.

Averian make sure pin your location so we can setup up some rides, I can't believe the thing showed up. I started to lose hope. It's been getting more and more press. I'm seeing write ups in all kinda of strange mags and websites. I seen 2 sell on CL for $5000
I'm waiting til it's in garage before I mod the crap out of it.

Ukiah finally called. Red one but at this point I'm grabbing ASAP. I hope we can ride in near future. Looking forward to future mods.....I think I'm heading towards supermoto /street fighter. I wish someone would come up with bash plate for entering and exits of bike paths.

i have seen these designs. I'm hoping something shows up like the ones we use on pit bikes. All the headers hang way down. I can't be the only one who wants to do some mild trails or cross small barricades to get on trail systems.

That skid plate doesn't look like it'll protect anything except kitaco's bottom line.
I do have an old SSR 125 in the backyard I've been cobbing parts off if. Maybe the skid plate could be used/modified to fit. Looks close.

Just sold my black tank covers. Get whatever color you want. Not that bad, cost wise, to change out.

FYI, I ordered a red Grom and a black unit arrived. Go figure.
