After watching this I'm so happy I switched to a 14t front sprocket... I'd spend the 15 dollars on a sprocket before the yosh and get some actual noticeable improvment.

I'm at 70 indicated (so 67ish) but I'm 225lbs as well... and while that's not really a huge difference its the acceleration to top speed that's noticeable.

14t is the only noticeable improvement I have seen. My exhaust and airbox don't improve over the 14t, that is - I put the 14t on first and notice the improvements, then I did airbox and exhaust mods together, and gained nothing. In face, I lost a little mid range grunt after exhaust/air mod.

Nice to know about the counter sprocket change did help.

Same thing when I had my 87 YSR-50 my counter sprocket did help out on the top end speed. Got real 70mph but I also had a tooney pipes, airbox mod, thinner head gasket, modified carb.
