I rolled into my neighborhood (undisclosed location lol) at midnight last night. A very small community with 110 houses. One way in and one way out and the whole thing is basically an oval with some bends for cul de sacs. All curves are about 15mph in a car so you know what that means!:haha:I road raced my neighborhood for 10 laps last night! I do not know if i want a pipe on the bike because there is no way I could rip up my hood at night without getting caught. I really need to get my Grom on some back road curves to play!

I've made a track in my 'hood. Similar to yours with only three ways in/out but they all exit on the same road about 1/2 mile apart. Not many cops or through traffic. I've found a pretty decent circuit that avoids all the stop signs. There's some speed bumps that I've gotten some air on as well. :cool2:

I'm also w/ you on the stock exhaust. Lets you creep when you want to lay low. Sometimes I'll use a sidewalk/trail (No Motorized Vehicles) to connect to another legal road.

That sounds very similar to my neighborhood. I have my deposit down and am looking at my neighborhood (especially the undeveloped back part) like its a track :) My neighbor is a cop and a pretty cool dude. I'll let him ride it some so he cuts me some slack

I definitely think about this late at night. My neighborhood is the same way. I will rip it late at night but stay in a higher gear to keep it quiet.

Curbs bite if you take a digger though...

Any sort of illegal activity is herby officially NOT condoned by HondGrom.net.

Unofficially, that is BA! The stock exhaust is quiet enough to rip and not be heard on the other side of double paned window glass. Even at full throttle.
Its only illegal if you get caught! Im more worried about my nosy neighbors and the HOA than the police!

Reading this thread got me pumped. I'm out of town for a couple days but when I get back I'll throw on the leathers and turn on the video camera and roar some hot laps.
