So ever since I got my Grom in late August I’ve wanted an aftermarket exhaust.
After looking around I found one I liked, it was the Leo Vince GP slip-on.
So I called Leo Vince direct and they told me it would be ready for shipping at the end of September and Icould place a pre-order with my local Honda dealership.
So on September 6th I place an order. Then the last week of September came and I was told there has been a delay and it will mid October. I said fine the bike was getting put away for the winter anyways. Then for the next 3 months it gets pushed back and then in late December
I found out they are not bringing that pipe to the US and they cancel my order.
Well in the mean time I’ve been looking at other exhaust and I find the Hot Laps single full system to bewhat I want. So I get on facebook and find out I can get it thru Mini MotoLabs. I contact them and they said yes they can get but I’ll have to wait 3 weeks to get it. It’s a custom made to order exhaust from Japan. All that’sfine with me because I’ve waited this long and there’s a foot of snow on the ground.
Well the pipes come in on Friday the 31[SUP]st[/SUP] and Mini Moto says the pipes will be shipped out Mondaywith tracking. Great, so Tuesday comes along and still no tracking number
So I contact Mini Moto and they say they will get it for me as soon as they get back to the shop. So later that night I get a message saying there’s been a problem and my exhaust will have a couple extra days to get to me. I ask what happen?
Well according to Mini they shipped it to the wrong address and they are having it shipped back to them andthen re-shipped out to me. This should take a day or 2 to get done. Well I wait till today (Friday) and I still have not got a new tracking number or update on the status. I have sent emails today and got no response back yet.
This getting an exhaust thing is really starting to piss me off.
UPDATE Mini contacted me and they said they have not got it yet, but I will have it by the end of next week.
Also this is not me bashing Leo Vince or Mini Moto Labs, both are great companies, just this whole ordeal has sucked!
