Any problems with your grom at those heights?
nope.. no problems.. there are sections of the BRP and the road to Mt. Mitchell that are very steep.. but the speed limit drops to 25 anyways.. so i didnt have any problems..

dude, there was no one there, you should have ridden it up to the very top
^^^^ Exactly what i was thinking...
first off.. i know the some of the rangers up there and they know me.. also dunno if you know it or not but they have cameras up here lol.. im not gonna ride up to the top..

ranger "why did you ride up here?"

me " i thought that said exit"

ranger "sure"

Nice pics.

To get those views here in Colorado you'd be at 14,000+ feet. :D

I live at 5280 and have been able to reach 70mph. 55 mph no problems w/ two up.

I took mine to the top of Flagstaff Mt. on Thursday. It's very steep and tight switchbacks. No issues. The summit is just shy of 7000 feet. So it's only about 1500 vertical feet from start at the bottom to the top but it does it in about 7 miles.

Here's a pic from NCAR. It's just South of Flagstaff Mt. This is the center of the Universe for the study of Global Warming and weather in general. Home | The National Center for Atmospheric Research

This is at 5670 feet looking out to 5200 feet on the plains in the distance.

Blue, you could have just walked it up (motor assisted)... then roll it down unassisted using the brakes... no different than pushing a stroller or mobility scooter up the hill... lol!
