Ferris....
If you change the rear brake line with no other changes (rear brake), let me know of any improvement over the stock setup.
And yes, I will stay tuned.

So, I just got an email from webike about my big order I placed with them. They aren't going to ship the order for a month!!!!! GRRR!!!!! It looks like I'll be lucky to get my parts before Christmas! I guess this will be my present to myself this year. I was hoping to at least be able to ride with the exhaust on before it gets too nippy. :furious:

About getting a bleeder.....you already have one! Or most parts to make one....

Get a small bottle (20 oz water bottle or smaller)
approximately 2 to 3 ft. 1/4" rubber surgical tubing
knife
brake fluid

Punch hole in plastic cap with knife so tubing will fit snugly thru lid
Punch another small breather hole in lid for air to escape from bottle with lid on
Run enough tubing thru lid so it lays on bottom of bottle and won't lift up or out
Pour a couple inches of fluid in bottle and screw on lid
Attach other end of hose to bleeder nipple
Set bottle on ground where you can see it clearly
Open brake reservoir and fill with fluid
Open bleeder and pump brake....making sure you keep reservoir full enough to not suck air
The hose will end up bleeding air into bottle till you see no bubbles in the bottle fluid
The fluid in the bottle you started with will begin to suck back into bleeder rather than air!
When there are no bubbles left in bottle and reservoir is filled back up full you are done.
Shut bleeder and remove hose! Drain remainder of fluid in hose into bottle...nice n clean!
Finishio.....

Thanks for the tip on the DIY bleeder.

Update: I just got my TRIPAGE LED and AC/DC headlight conversion. I just barely put it on the bike so I don't have any night pics with it. I wish I would have done before and after pics.... but I got lazy LOL. I do like how the light will stay on even if the motor isn't running with the conversion which is nice. Of course you don't want to leave it on for long periods of time either but still... One thing to note is that when installing you really need to hack up the rubber gasket that goes around the bulb in the headlight housing in order for everything to fit especially with the heat sink on the LED bulb but other than that it was all plug and play just about. Took me about 30 min or so just because I did other things while I had everything apart such as the air box mod so we'll see what kinds of improvements that gives me.

I don't know why I didn't update this when I originally did it but I also installed some CBR pegs on the Grom which I think look a LOT better than the rubber padded ones. I do feel a bit more vibration in my feet but it's not unbearable.

Does anyone know where I can get some spoke wheels? I've only seen a few Groms/MSX125s with them and I'm pretty sure they were all show bikes but still I'm just curious how much they would run and if there are any sites that sell them because I love the look of them.

Thanks in advance!

Haha thanks man. I do like my little Fit. Great gas mileage and pretty roomy. I haven't tried to get the Grom in the back yet but I have a friend that got a ruckus in his. He had to take the handle bars off but he got it in nonetheless. I'm wanting to sell it though unfortunately. I've had it for a couple years now and am looking for something new.

Update: So at the beginning of last month I placed a considerable order ($500+) with Webike and was hoping to have an update on this thread by now with all the new parts I had ordered. New plastics, new exhaust, new seat, etc... Alas, there was an issue with the order and I'm just trying to get my money back at this point so unfortunately I don't have much to add at this time.

I did just place an order with MSXSport for some white plastics which I can't wait to get here. So far communication has been good and I've seen good feedback from other members with their site and the guy that runs it so I'm hoping I'll have a similar experience.

I did get a few more minor bits that I need to take pictures of and actually getting around to installing such as my Kitaco throttle tube, Oury grips, and cb1000r style mirrors. I am also still needing to install my brake lines that I got a while ago as well. Can anyone say slacker? Haha!!

Next thing I planed to order is an exhaust. I had ordered the K-Factory exhaust but the issues with Webike have killed that idea and am trying to decide what to get. I thought about the IXIL Mad Max or whatever it's called but it seems like I see it on a lot of bikes on here and I generally like to be a little bit different in my builds. I really like the look and sound of the Brock's and I also stumbled on the DG Performance low mount exhaust on Amazon for about $150 cheaper which looks decent and from the clips I've found sounds decent as well. I think I like the Brock's more but $150 is a decent chunk of cash to be used elsewhere in my build (PCV anyone?)

Next on the agenda is aftermarket bars. I'm leaning towards the xr50 ProTaper bars. Anyone got a side by side comparison pic of the bars not installed?

If anyone has any input and wants to chime in, the feedback is appreciated.

Where's these pics of the headlight...even a day time pic of it...........
Sorry, I just saw this request. I'll try to get a good pic of the headlight set up tomorrow. The light output of the LED conversion is amazing and worth the cost. Installation was fairly simple and straight forward as well.

I'm getting the Brock's Alien Head exhaust which should be here on Friday from Hard Racing. I'm pretty stoked! I just wish I would have been able to order it before the end of the season so I would get a chance to enjoy it before it gets cold.

I usually will ride around with my high beam on to be honest and I haven't had a single person flash their brights at me yet so... It's considerably brighter than the stock bulb. My buddies I ride with all love it. I also love how the light comes on with the key and the motor doesn't need to be running.

One thing that helped me decide to go LED vs HID is the ballast is big and bulky in an HID and you have to find a place for it. From what I understand you still need to do the AC/DC conversion with HIDs as well.

Just got my Brock's in and on the bike. Sounds killer and looks slick as well. Order was placed through Hard Racing but drop shipped directly from Brock's Performance which is OK as Hard Racing gave me a slightly lower shipping quote haha.

First impressions are I love the way it transforms the whole look of the bike and sounds stellar. My ECU hasn't adjusted yet but I'm sure the extra performance will be nice as well when it does. I love that it saves quite a bit of weight and clears up the tail section quite nicely. Sound clip will be posted momentarily.

It does give you a boost in performance but to get all out of it you will need a pcv.
