I'm sure everyone has seen these pics, but has anyone heard if these are going to be available? I've looked everywhere and I've called a few aftermarket fairing manufacturers and nobody I have found is doing anything like this.

I'm really interested in making my Grom look like my CBR 1000rr and this is the closest thing I've seen.

Same here. My Grom with the fairings would look sick. I contacted both SharkSkinz and Catalyst Racing ( from Hard Racing's good website) and they both told me that they are not currently working on anything for our Grom/MSX. Sucks. BUGS did locate a mid and lower fairing combo that would do me. My man @ Moto X Thailand says it is preorder, being marketed by Custom Parts Studio and he can hook me up. The mid fits to something like Tyga lower, but I am not positive. They have several. I have the KKS V1 which after all the BS I went through to fit I am not wiling to just abandon it without being sure this mid would work with it. That French company now makes the rear section. Perhaps they will develop a front section as well. Let's keep our eyes peeled!

I contacted SharkSkinz and was told the same thing. I have a few other companies that I still need to contact. One looks promising and isn't too far from me. I was thinking about buying a CBR 1000rr front fairing and try and fit it myself. I'm not sure how hard it would be to fit considering I'd have to take into account the turn signal mirrors and dual headlights. I would still like something that LOOKS like the CBR but on a slightly smaller scale.

Lots of updates but they are mostly confidential so I can't show much at this stage! LOL I can show you a couple of shots of TYGA track testing today at Bira Circuit of a naked version of the bike. We needed to test ergonomics and new controls and I'm happy to say the bike passed the test with flying colours. it makes a great track bike for getting to learn the techniques to ride hard in corners etc. We also tested some other products such as a new exhaust which is really quiet and yet the same size as our original one. Oh yes, and we were testing a high lift cam. So in conclusion, lots of things on the way and all will be revealed soon!

Our superbike tail kit will be ready for production around 1week.
We have done lots of adjustments on the original design.
For example the original tank cowl wasn't made from fiberglass. You can bend it and it will brake under pressure (I accidently broke it).
Also because some pieces of the original tail kit are bendable to the mounting hole, fiberglass is not, so now we are perfectionizing everything
So every piece from our kit comes with B-grade fiberglass, painted in the color you want (incl. tank cowl cover)

Thanks for the positive feedback. First priority is to get the new project into production and after that we will be concentrating efforts on performance upgrades. We sponsor a national team running MSX125s (Groms) in the Thai Championship (partly owned by the SAG Moto2 team we sponsor too) and the power these bikes get compared to stock is the difference between night and day. Reliability is key and we'll be doing lots of dyno and track testing before launch of any new performance products.

On the exhaust, good idea about the back to back comparison for noise. The quieter version will work out a little cheaper too (around 50 dollars) than our existing carbon type so that is an added bonus.

BTW, nothing on our kit will be B grade. Our GRP products use only the best imported European epoxy resin (approx 3 times the price and strength as any polyester on the market and the same as used on OE Ducati carbon etc.) It is is tough and very flexible. The down side apart from cost is it is harder to work with and takes longer to cure than polyester so most people avoid it. However, the end product is worth the extra effort. We will also be making a complete kit in carbon. It will obviously be more expensive than the GRP version but on the plus side, carbon is even stronger, lighter and sexier, so as usual, we will try to give owners as much choice as possible.
