I gave the Grom a fair shot--even built a custom seat so I could take my mind off the uncomfortable stock seat and focus on how it ran--but it's simply not what I hoped it would be. I'm sure more performance is there to be had but I've already been there, done that with my megadollar street-legal XR-50 and I ain't going down that road again. I spent a pile of money on the Grom and it's accessories and now I'm just looking to sell it all off and forget this whole experience.

Anyway here's what I have for sale:

Seat Concepts seat--built from a second stock seat I bought just for this purpose I stripped off the stock stuff, sent it off to Seat Concepts and let them install their flatter seat for me. Absolutely the best money I spent on the bike and you no longer slide forward and end up sitting on your balls. I pissed away almost $300 and will sell it for $175 shipped. Tentatively sold.

Black bodywork--As new, I brought home the bike, stripped it off and installed red bodywork in order to get the color I wanted. This might become good used red bodywork in the event whoever buys my bike wants a black one and I have to change it. For now the black stuff is available and I'll sell it for $150 shipped in the box the red stuff came in. If the red bodywork comes available I'll update the ad and adjust the price since it's used (but excellent condition). SOLD

Factory shop manual--$20 shipped. SOLD

Genuine Honda rack--It's on the bike but if someone wants it before the bike sells I'll pull it. $45 shipped. SOLD

Stock seat cover and foam--I removed the staples and tried to carefully remove the foam for the above seat build. The foam was glued down in places and isn't perfect. Good for someone who biffed their bike and wanted to fix their stock seat. $35/PRICE DROP--$25 shipped.

Payment by Pay Pal or U. S. Postal Service Money Order. To see my sorry reputation go to eBay, look up my name there (bbrxr50) and check out my feedback.

Thanks and ride safe!!!

Go to Seat Concepts web site. Sorry I can't post a pic but I'm an old phuck who never mastered all these new electronic toys, don't own an e-camera and can barely run a computer other than my keyboard skills. (Thanks, Dad, for insisting I take a full year of typing in high school...)

If you absolutely need a pic if one of my buddies is by this weekend I can have him take one and hopefully we can figure out how to post it here. Sorry about this but I'm a mechanic, not a techie...

Wildhorse1966 has spoken for the manual and rack.

Yup, T. D. sent me a P. M. around noon on 3-22. I just got in from the "Icebreaker" Lucas Oil dirt late model race at Brownstown, IN where Don O'Neal got out front and won the ten grand this race paid. It's been a long winter and having 800 HP late models throw dirt in my face definitely helped make me feel better even if it was cold during the feature.

i'll take the honda rack :)
See post #4. Wildhorse1966 spoke first for the manual and the rack which is coming off the bike in a few minutes. Good to hear people need racks--it shows they're actually going to use the bike for it's practical aspects.

I got mine off of eBay and it's from the Thailand market. The instructions were all in Thai. Can't remember what I gave for it--$70 or $80 bucks? It might have been more. It's been a month or three and I've slept since then. It's hell to be old.

All that's left is the stock seat cover and foam. I reduced the price to $25 w/shipping.
