I just ordered white plastics for my Grom so it is time to start a build thread.

Most of my inspiration is coming from the helmet I got a couple months ago, the Shark Raw in white! It reminds me of a bad guy in a video game, so I am going with an Umbrella Corporation theme.

Day One

Planned Parts (in progress)
  • Two Brothers exhaust system
  • White plastics
  • Corbin seat, red stitching and welt
  • Luggage Rack
  • Umbrella Corporation parking sticker to replace fuel injection sticker

Nice bike. How are you liking the helmet? Can you also use it without the shield ?
Its an awesome helmet!

I wear my HJC FG-17 more because I'm paranoid commuting in a 3/4, but when I rock it I never regret it. Everything feels a lot more exciting wearing the Shark Raw.

I can see a lot better wearing it. Both because of field of view and the clarity of the lenses in the goggles. Checking over my shoulder is a lot easier without the chin bar of my full face getting in the way also

The mask is detachable from the goggle so you could rock it goggles no mask.

Upgrades slowly but surely being added. Most recently I reskinned the stock seat, installed an o-ring chain, and installed the two brothers racing fender eliminator.

Next up:
1. corbin seat (long wait time... can't wait to tackle big trips without my butt on fire)
2. installing a better fender eliminator / luggage rack combo this weekend thanks to vagabond motorsports
3. Power Commander V

I bought this seat MAD Seat ? GoGrom thinking anything would be more comfortable than stock, I was horribly wrong :haha:

So I removed all the staples from the mad-seat, got a badass staple gun, and stapled the mad seat liner onto the stock seat. It ended up looking cool, just don't ask to see the bottom side (first time using a staple gun!). It did add a bit of cushion to stock since the ribbed pattern has some extra fluffy stuff in it
