Luggage Rack? US

The only luggage rack I can find for my Grom is on eBay and overseas. Is no one in the US selling one? I need a place to attach a Pelican case for dry storage.

Is the one on eBay my only option?

The case mounted via a universal plate that bolted onto the rack,with a lot of options. I mounted the universal bracket as far back as I thought safe so the passenger can actually fit in there. The case is super light and looks to be well made. The key doubles as a way to open the case or to unhook the case off the bike. The case cab easily hold a helmet, gloves, and a few other small items, or be used for grocery trips. I actually found the backrest at a dealer in Nevada that's dumping all their Hepco & Becker gear. I wouldn't pay 40.00d shipping for it. I think it was 20 and change. Today, u carried my laptop, charger, coat and a few other things back there. Worked fine. The inside of the case could use some padding, but I am OK without it. The red color on the back is not reflective from what I can see, but adds some color. So, I guess I am happy with this purchase. Having some storage on board is really nice and can be easily removed when it's not needed. I am keeping this Grom stock, although the Blue panels I have seen on someone else's bike look amazing.

cool.. i just want something so when i want to take my camera and some gear i can throw in the case and go.. when i want to go riding w/o it just take it off.. looks good.. thanks for the pics.. and yah i dunno who has those blue panels but im sure it looks awesome

Any new news on the luggage situation? I do like to run up to the store and buy a bag of groceries. Today I'm just using a small cargo net made for motorcycles. I put two hooks on each rear set and hook the other two to each other under the seat. I don't like the whole "Japanese schoolgirl riding to school" look with the milk crate on back, but an easy on/off rack would be nice.

Can the Vagabond rack be installed without their fender eliminator?

Any reviews of the Hard Racing rack? This looks like what I'd like, especially if it can be removed easily.

Genuine Honda top box and mounting rack.
Got mine free with the bike.
Works fine. Key coded to my ignition key. Takes all of 3 seconds to remove the box and be left with a flat rack at the back. Fits a helmet with some space to spare.

That's the ticket. How do we get one over here? I've got a buddy in Glasgow coming over in Sept. Maybe I can talk him into sending one over. What's postage on a box like that?

Sorry I have no idea what the postage would be. The box it's self is not too heavy, but the mounting kit is a bit weighty.
As it is a standard Honda part I'm not sure why your dealers don't have it. Send them that link and see if they can get it for you as a special order?

It also comes with a padded back rest that you can drill a couple of holes in the box and attach it to. Makes a nice backrest for your pillion. I never take anyone on the back of my bike though so I didn't see the point in putting it on.

That last picture of the base that the box attaches to looks really nice even when not using the box.

I just bought and installed the Kemimoto rack. Seems very nice and sturdy and blends with the bike well...
