Looks like the Takegawa 181-4v BBK kit needs copper head gasket or something better

I notice when doing my head porting on my Takegawa 4v head that the top of the head "flat area" is pocket with craters and pit and holes and it looks like the hot gases are sneaking under the Takegawa provide gasket and pitting the head. Now I have to find a place that has copper sheets so I can make my own copper head gasket, anyone know what is the proper thickness of copper plate to use.

I've not had problems with the Takegawa gasket but you can buy copper gaskets from Yuminashi if you need them.
Pretty cheap actually. 63.5MM (0.5MM) COPPER GASKET SET (MSX/SF ● GROM/SF ● MONKEY 125)
