Looking for higher top speed on my 22 Grom

Hey guys, love my Grom but would like a little more top end speed. I weigh about 180 lbs and with my Zoom exhaust and Chimera intake I am toping out around 60 mph. I have done other upgrades which has made the bike a little lighter but that is about it for performance.

I only want to own one bike at a time and was thinking about selling my Grom to my son and getting a newish Yamaha RS400 or something similar. It's almost twice the weight of the Grom and likely not as much fun. I mostly use the bike for short trips on back country roads but also commute with it occasionally. Speed limit on my commute is 50mph so I can keep up with traffic but just barely. My wife and I fit fine on the Grom as she is only 90 lbs or so.

The other option I was considering was a big bore kit. Anyone try that? With a 149CC BBK would I get a top end closer to 70 mph? I wish there was a complete kit with everything you will need. Is the below list missing anything?

149CC Kit$ 349.00
Cam$ 179.00
PCX 150 Injector$ 49.00
Oil cooler$ 150.00
Oil pump$ 59.00
ECU Flash$ 159.00
Total$ 945.00

Anyone have any experience with reliably with the BBK?
Any way to scale that list down to around $500-$600 and still get a noticeable power improvement?
I don't think changing my sprockets would give me any higher top speed as 5th gear is mostly an overdrive. I would also like a little more speed climbing hills.

Thanks for any help or suggestions. (y)

I have heard nothing but good things about Dave over at DHM.

I was debating between a Stage 3 kit and oil cooler for about $600 total or a BBK kit with oil cooler for around $850.
After seeing this:

Now I am thinking about just doing the Stage 2 cam and flash.

Any recommendations?
For what it's worth: A couple of posts where I talked about Stage 2 from DHM on a couple of my 2022 Groms

I didn't need more speed for my riding area but was curious what Stage 2 would be like for me. I like it, ...I like it a lot.

Fantastic info! Thank you. I am leaning more to the Stage 2 now. I can always go bigger later.
