I've replaced all my turn signals with smaller LED types and am still fighting getting them to work. I've tried all the flavor-of-the-day flashers that have been discussed on here and finally with the EL12 flasher my rear blinkers have started to work, however, my front blinkers look like very weak candles. My next step is to go to load resistors.

My question about the load resistors is how many do I need? Do I need to use (4), one for each blinker, or, just (2), one for each set of blinkers (left and right sides)? Also, if I only need 2 of the resistors where is the best place to put them?

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions you all can chime in with.

Go with the CF13JL option and just tap into the headlight ground for the extra prong.

I tried the resistors with the el12 and 552 with a varying degree of success/failure.
While a load resistor will get the flasher operating, it has to dissipate a lot of energy.

I ordered a universal electronic motorcycle flasher from superbrightleds. According to USPS, it arrives today.

Thanks for the link Gromos. I ordered one of the CF13JL's and I'll give that a try. I'm not to hot on using the load resistors and maybe this flasher will be the one. If not . . . . I'll have another to add to my odd ball flasher collection.
