Weeks ago several folks posted up that they would be tuning these engine and doing dyno runs and all kinds of cools stuff. I am still waiting for that. "Feels faster" doesn't do it for me. I really want to see some hard numbers so that we know what individual changes actually do.
Bike has had Yoshi and K&N for a few weeks
The bike gained 5mph with the Yoshi over just running K&N
One hill thats near us - I could previously get 65mph down and 50mph up the same hill.
After fitting the Yoshi and K&N - I got 70mph - down and 55mph comping up.
Bike hits rev limiter in 1/ 2 / 3 - but not in 4th (I am HEAVY)
So today I - fitted the Yuminashi Light Bore - Injector and valve springs.
Bike now pulls MUCH better - no issues with fitting or anything - Reset the ECU (The proper tool is a wire by the way)
Same hills and windy today (cross wind) hit 72 down hill and 57 on the way up
My daugter then did the same run and hit 76 and 63 - came home smilling
The big difference is the low and mid range - pulls really well - probably starts running out of steam at around 7000 RPM - but still gives more than stock!
Have the Thai ECU - fuel adjuster on order - so when that get her - will fit that - and let you know again - maybe that will improve the top end?
I will get a Dyno run done after I have fitted that so I can see where we are at and tune that in.
