hi all,
- have been getting this issue a bit more recently, I am going to send my bike back for warrenty work as the bike will not go into neutral on standstill, so the bike has to go back as I cant be having this!
1) but in the last week or two I have noticed on downshifting (3-5k RPM "roughly") I have been getting a screech from the bike as I release the clutch changing down gears. at first I thought I thought as I let the clutch out my rear wheel was jumping and skidding for a split second resulting in the unmistakeable split second tyre vs asphault screech. But thinking about this I cant really see this being possible, have spoke with a few people who have given me worrying looks :/, as they may think it could well be the clutch itself making the noise on the clutch release. Someone said it could be a loose chain as chains can do weird things to a bike when loose, so I adjusted to the 35mm travel as indicated on the swingarm, but no fix, still getting the screech, I cant really see the wheel skidding to make the noise for that milisecond of clutch release, anyone

2) Does anyone else notice a bubbling noise from the front brake when pulling it in. (sounds like a small air leak under water or if you had a punctured innertube, really hard to explain)

had similar issues or want to share their worrying concern?
advice is required I think :)

thanks all

In the same situation when ur down shifting, try not down shifting an while applying the front brakes slightly apply the rear brakes until it makes the rear tire screech. Compare screeches ill almost guarantee ur screech is the tire screech. Never once in my 9yrs of riding have I ever heard a noise from the clutch that I would categorize as a screech. Maybe there's a chance if it was a dry clutch. But I've only has clutchs slip an that don't make a noise.
