The other night i was riding, my instrument panel flashed and reset while i was sitting at a stop light. I blew it off as a random occurence but the last few days it has started to do it more frequently and this morning on my way to work it probably reset itself about 15 times!! What the hell is going on? I checked my battery connections, fuses are all good, could this be a ground somewhere or something causing this? A few more notes, when i rev the engine (even a little bit) it seems to be okay and wont reset. The bike doesnt die, and the neutral light, blinker indicators never go off when the panel does. The real scare here is that yesterday and this morning when it did this multiple times, after i shut off the bike, i tried to turn on the key again and nothing happened. After i wait a minute of two i can put the key back in and it acts fine. Someone please at least give me some direction here on what to check cause it's starting to piss me off, and worry me a bit... have you tried taking the headlight off and make sure the factory plug is firmly in the cluster?

Maybe, it is loose and that is why it is getting a intermittent connection.

Yea i made sure the plug was good. Got an update though, just took a break at work and did some more checking, my neg battery terminal seemed a bit loose (even though i tightened it the other day). Looks like the screw may have been stripped out a little bit, so i did some macgyvering and fixed the connection. I'll see if that helps when i go ride around at lunch. Thanks bud.

Cool. That happened on my odyssey!

When I would turn, y odyssey would sometimes just turn off! I would lose power steering and braking!

Very dangerous!

One day, I was messing around under the hood, and happened to touch the negative cable.

The damn thing pushed off the terminal with no force!

Seems like the screw clamp was reassembled incorrectly so it never was able to get tight grip around terminal.

I fixed it and never had a problem since.

So far so good. Rode about 10 miles during lunch and it never reset so maybe it's all good. Hopefully
