I purchased some pro taper klx110 handler bars and I noticed two drill holes on he stock bars to line up the controls. I can't seem to find this answer anywhere.

Are you guys drilling or sanding down the metal nub inside of the controls? I tried tightening the controls but they spin fairly easy.

Little hard to find numb in the controls go into the bars and should be drilled to line-up on the new bars ( at least on the racebarz they needed drilled)

I asked the same question and I wouldn't recommend grinding the nub.

I read on the CRF250L forum that a guy used double sided tape on the bars (like 3M). Once he got the controls lined up he pressed the controls into the tape and the nub left an impression in the tape.

He then drilled where the mark was and everything lined up perfect.

What did you use fora reference to make sure the controls line up correctly Just eye it?
Go to composimo site and go to the racebarz install he has measurements to drill at but that is obviously for those bars not sure the size difference between your bars and those you might need to adjust..

Those bars allow you to spin the grips after so the drilling location is not very important. I also noticed a weird issue last night. If i turn the handle bars to the right all the way the throttle sticks... I played with the cables to see if something was kinking it but it wasn't,. I moved them around and it got better but its still kind of scary.

I have always ground the nubs ..on any bike. It allows you to have adjustability with your levers. I've never had slipping (rotating) controls, although I crank 'em just tight enough to let them move if you hit the ground. That can make the difference in snapping a lever or your controls just rotating.
I have the KLX bars too - just deciding if I really want them on my Grom.

They are very wide not sure I like them just yet.. So I drilled a hole and I made it a little to large and ever when its as tight as i can make it it slides up and down in the hole. I don't understand by mine doesn't grip enough -_-

I guarantee that you're stretching the cable which is making the throttle stick. The KLX bars are too wide for the Grom. You need to cut them down which will take care of the throttle problem and give you a much more comfortable riding position. AND, they won't look so weird... I took off about 4 inches; 2 per side.
