Right thought I would post this question here, as it seems the right place. Picking my Grom (MSX in the UK) up hopefully this weekend and wanted to quickly talk about a few mods I want to do right off the bat!
Tires - Standard Michelin Power Pure. Heard good things about these on the Grom, and can never fault that little bit of peace of mind, in not having stock tires! I've read that they come up a little smaller than the stocks, typical with most Michelin tires, so what sizes are people running front and back?
Exhaust and Tail Tidy - Put these two together, as I think I'm pretty set on running a Yoshimura carbon full system exhaust and so want/need a tail tidy that wont compromise the indicators (dunno what you call them in the states, Signals...flashy lights??). I'm looking at the Yoshimura one, as surely it should work along with its own exhaust. Anyone had any experience with their Yoshimura exhaust and a suitable tail tidy, Tyga has a nice tail tidy if this works with the RS-9.
Suspension - Read loads about the stock suspension being a little under par, so should I be looking at replacing this early off, and if so with what? Will be using the bike daily for work, as well as to scoot around on, being a general teenager again.
I've got some other bits I'm looking at doing, but there more cosmetic and won't actually affect the bike so thats no problem. Any help would be great, as I would love to get the parts now and take them down before I pick up the bike so they can be installed ASAP. Just as a side note, I am mechanically retarded and just want to ride something pretty and cool
so imagine your talking to your 5 year old kid, and I will be able to follow!
