I need help with I-map

Hello, I bought kitaco imap and installation was going just fine until I had to connect the i-map harness into ac generaton plug(4pin). I can’t find any 4pin connectors in the connector cover. Has anyone experienced this problem with their monkey and I-map? Or is I-map even compatible with monkey? The shop where I bought it from marketed it as monkey compatible but i guess that they could be wrong🤷‍♂️

I don’t believe Kitaco say they are plug and play for the Monkey but I have seen at least one person on Facebook Honda Monkey 125 Club France using it, I did ask if they could explain what they did to get it working on the Monkey but they never replied.

Thanks for the reply. I got it working today and my monkey feels more powerful now! If you or someone else need help with getting i-map for monkey, then I can help😃

Hello, I got imap working on my monkey a few years ago. I can't exactly remember the procedure I did for the 4p coupler problem but comparing grom SF and Monkey wiring diagrams found at cameron jones racing you can see that on the grom 2 wires from the stator and 2 wires from the crank position sensor comes to the 4 pin plug. On the monkey the colors are the same but the stator wires goes to a 2 pin plug and ckp has just 2 bullet connector. The wiring can be done without cutting the orginal harness by making "adapters" using suitable crimp connectors. I have the bike in storage now at winter, but when I have time and If needed i can go and check what Iv'e done.
