Went out for a ride the other day with some local rucksters. Had a great time, no problems with the bike or anything. Probably put close to 100 miles on the odometer. Then I got home, pulled into the garage, missed the kickstand with my foot and laid it down. FML:crying:

at least there wasnt any damage to Akaoni, as she hit the tire of my ruck and that kept it from the concrete floor

There are two kinds of riders - those who have dropped their bike, and those that will.

I have a similar story.

So after making the 6 hr trek to LA to pick up my grom, I didn't spend much time at the dealership to chit chat or to ride the grom. I needed to quickly get back on the road to make so that i wouldn't be driving too much at night.

I watched the new trained employees strap down my grom to the truck with just two straps! They didn't even secure the rear tire!

So before i got on the freeway home, I pulled over and tried to make adjustments! I undid the tension on side of the grom.

To my shock/dismay, my grom promptly fell over in the bed of the truck! There was no damage, but I wasn't a happy camper! It took me 20 minutes to finally get it tied down! It was the first time, I had to use ratcheting straps on my own!

Many years ago I had to learn why not to ride motorcycles up into the back of a truck after a ride. I made it in, but my bike fell to the left when i lost my balance. My right leg was trapped under the bike while my left was touching the ground as i did the splits. Not only painful, but embarrassing. Once my buddy stopped laughing he lifted the bike off unpinning me, these things happen and it could be worse.

lol i damaged my turn signal the first 5 mins of owning my grom,

so loading it into the trailer, got it up fine, leaned the bike over on my leg (like i do with all my other bikes) - to reach down and pickup the strap, well the grom is so freaking short when i leaned it over on my leg i actually bumped the signal into the side of my bed

Ha I did this too, luckily it was in my front yard and handlebar went down into fresh muddy soil... did no harm to the bike what so ever. I was really lucky. I did mess up the mirror, but I was changing them anyways... besides that not any harm at all.. damn i was lucky... that was before i dropped and stretched it too
