I hate my clutch cable, it does not release correctly and I have adjusted it many times.

I am looking into creating a hydraulic clutch conversion kit, most likely from another Honda sportbike.

Would anyone be interested? I have searched and I do not see anything on the market yet for the grom. I am looking to get something done for under $100 (not including a new lever). I see some universal kits for around $250 so who knows.

lol the last hydraulic clutch i had on a bike offered no adjustments

it was a 08 gsxr 1000 with no adjustments, maybe other mfg make them with adjustments,

if i were you id try some levers first, they will cam out due the positioning of the lever and make the engagement of the clutch zone different.

Thats the whole point with hydraulic clutches, no adjustment. The cable clutch will fade when the clutch is abused and gets hot, but the hydraulic clutch will self adjust and never change. Being a life long off-road rider/racer, I can attest to the effectiveness of KTM's hydraulic clutch. However, you get better "feel" with a cable clutch. When I was drag racing a street bike, a cable operated clutch had superior feel to one that was hydraulic. There are several companies that make cable conversions for bikes that came with hydraulic clutches.

As FXCLM5 said, try adjusting the clutch with different amounts of free play. The free play is what dictates where the clutch engages/disengages.

I rarely slip my clutch so adjustment is not an issue for me. The only bike I ever owned with a hydro clutch (Gas Gas) was a total pita.
