Well, I ended up getting a Grom a lot sooner than what I anticipated. I was waiting for all of the hype to come down and for the colder part of the winter to hit before I got a bike. I had a friend who purchased one and after 10 days and 9 miles on the odometer, he felt that he needed to stay on three wheels or more. So he offered the bike to me for $2800 bucks. I couldn't walk away from that, so I took the offer. I put a good 600 miles on it before I wanted to change anything. First thing I did was the normal 14T front sproket. Height was my next concern. Being that the forks were going to be a pain in the ass to design something myself, I opted to just buy Composimo's front lowering kit and bars and do all of that at the same time. That was after I created my own rear adjustable shock lowering bracket and stock extended swing arm setup. The pictures on the swing arm are pretty self explanatory. The rear lowering bracket is adjustable from 1", 2.5" and 4".
