Ok, here it is.

Installation of the SBL Double LED Light Bar Headlight Conversion.

Very easy to do.
Takes about 20-30 min, the first time around to do the install.
Probably would only take about 10-15 min to go back to stock, if you need to.

Looks great, works great........ and of course, Bright as S$%T.

Can't ask for much more then that. :)

Love the video! Glad y'all did this and SBL didn't have to take mine away from me to make it:)

for or anyone that's interested in this setup, it truly is amazing at night and lights up the road in front of you and the other lanes as well which is real nice for turns and being able to spot out sand and garbage in the road. Nobody that I know likes to dump the front because sand in the road and I will say this one has saved me a time or two on unknown roads at night.

I am considering this or the HID kit, good video, very informative
.

+1 to what Floppy said.
The HID kit is a great upgrade.

But, the Double LED Light Bar conversion is another 3 steps up over that.

It's Like turning on the sunlight.

call me a noob, but i just read another post that red/blue headlight is illegal.

In the video, it was mention that it very easy to remove it for those are concerned about yearly inspections...

In texas, is there a law that i need a hi beam? what makes this setup not pass inspection in some states?

Well, this LED is PURE WHITE...... so no worries there.

Some States, require an annual inspection. And sometime they require a high/low beem.

So, if your state is like that, then you would just swap back, once a year.

If your state does not inspect..... then you are all good.

anyone good at intrepeting these things???

I think, i'm covered under Section B. I can have a single beam.

And again it restates it in section C-2.

So at least in Texas, i will be fine...??

Motorcycle inspections tend to have a lot of wiggle room so to speak, especially at a customs shop. Technically stuff like fender eliminators, non stock blinkers, and exhausts should make a bike fail but nobody cares.

Easiest way to say this is a cop that pulls you over for that and actually gives you a ticket is BS. You would get a fix it ticket which would be a non moving violation so you'll be ok:) plus when has anyone ever been pulled over and the cop ask you to see of you have a high and low.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but just wondering how these are doing long term. Also how well the low/high function works now.
.

Happy to report we have sold over 100 + sets in past year... Zero failure .

Love mine, zero issues. I haven't had a single charging issues either, which Led are easier on battery anyway. Have my main low pointed fairly toward the ground. still lights up everything in site. just keeps the beam from blinding people. when I hit the highway or bypass here, I flip to the high beams where they are pointed straight out pretty much. They are so amazing. Have helped me see idiots walking / skateboarding / biking in the middle of the freaking road at 2am. Really lights up construction areas in town. People see you coming and you see them ahead. I love it as extra safety on this little bike.

100% Agree.
The added bonus is definitely, that Cars you see better.......... day and night. They can't miss those lights.

Where as the stock is soo dim, it's easy to miss.

It is so weird that some users have zero charging issues while others like me have all kinds of problems!

but there aren't too many problems that can't be fixed once you throw money at it. My hi output stator from ricky stator should be here today.

If anyone is interested, sometime in october I will be putting my SBL lights up for sale. I'm getting some rigids sr2's.

I'd be interested.

Is there a way to wire the lights so that the low beam light and high beam light stay on together with the high beams on?
.

Yes, all you need is a Diode in the Power Wire for the High Beam.

That way, when the low beam is on...... only the lower light bar is on.

Then you flip the high beam, and BOTH Lights come on.
