Well it seems like the heat waves are over, and now
Autumn (fall for US) is almost here, so that means getting
ready for a Winter hibernation,
Still plenty of good riding days to come
fingers crossed ? but now seems the time to
start thinking about what needs doing to our
bikes ? like buying new gaskets if a oil change
is needed ? oils for engine / chain, levers anything
that needs a bit of lubricants ?
personally i start at one end and work to the other,
checking all lights / indicators, tires for any damage
and at the correct pressure , replaced if needed ,
bolts are tight / chain is adjusted and lubricated ,
battery replaced if needed , air filler replaced or
cleaned , check the wiring and plugs ,
replace the spark plug ,
most of this is what we should do before we go riding !

Meh, if you are gonna store it for a few months without riding it... oil change, wash it real good, lube the chain, top off with gas and add some Stabil 360. Put it in the corner, cover it up, and do not touch it until you ride it next. I live in San Antonio and get to ride year round with some nice warm riding gear during our winter.

Yep that's just about what I do !
here in the UK you never really know
what the winter months are going to be like ?
Snow, ice ,freezing, wet, dry, sunshine ?🥶
the seasons have change that much over the years !
hopefully its going to be dry ? i don't mind the cold,
i just wrap up warmer,🧤🧣
Monkey does not like the Rain / snow and ice and road salt,
i don't like spending hours washing and polishing itđźšż
after just a short run .(y)
