checked this morning. just before my idle drops after warming up, there is a faint pop sound but not as drastic as yours.
Honda Grom Issue...
Check out this video of the sound my Grom makes when I start it. The idle immediately drops after that noise. It started after I removed my spark plug the other day. I screwed it back in and it is tight, not overtightened. I also put the black cap back on and it wont go on any further (I think), so I can't figure out what this is caused by.

Maybe I can hear mine better because of the kn filter and no airbox.

Mine is stock and I live in Texas where it is already hot. No sound like that with my bike, but it also does not idle at 2000 ever. If it is cold out, the bike will surge up in RPMS a little, but then when it eventually returns to lower rpms it is more gradual and there is no popping sound.
i modded my intake for a k&n filter as well, but it's inside the housing which has been vented.Maybe I can hear mine better because of the kn filter and no airbox.
