So I took the grom out today to snap some pics of it. Let me know what you think, any criticism good or bad is welcomed. Im still on the fence on which to add to the contest before the 15th.

Just call me Ronald, but my camera isn't anything special it's a old canon rebel xsi shooting through a 50mm prime lens. And yes golden hour pictures are the best only problem is it doesn't last as long since I live in Texas. For instance I went out last week to take some shots but a cloud cover the sun for 45 mins and I ran out of light. Shoebacca we should get the Houston grins together for photos.

Its funny that you say that I had to manual focus those shots. The area was directly underneath two huge power lines and super conductors, you could literately hear the electricity. Now again I'm no expert but my camera was freaking out, the af points were flickering on and off even on non-focus points. Those were the last photos I took, but as soon as i got home i looked on canons website and found this.

Never leave the camera near anything having a strong magnetic field such as a magnet or electric motor.Also avoid using or leaving the camera near anything emitting strong radio waves such as a large antenna.Strong magnetic fields can cause camera misoperation or destroy image data.
