I was wiring up a fender eliminator tonight and ran into a problem. After doing the wiring I am not getting any change from the tail light when I hit either of the brakes. With the bike running I am getting 12V to both the black and green+yellow wire that goes to the tail light. The third wire is green which is ground. I believe that either the black or the green+yellow should only be 12V when the brake is pressed. Hit me with your best shot, I need some help.

The black wire gets 12V as soon as you turn on the bike. The green/yellow should come on only when you apply the brakes. It seems like one of your brake sensor switches is stuck on.

Thanks for the replies guys, I will check that out today.

Edit: It's the front brake switch. Unplugged it and it works perfectly now.

Doulbe Super Edit: It was the Chazzo levers. The front brake lever is not long enough to depress the brake switch so I guess I have been riding around with my brake light on since I installed them. It is not even close to touching the switch it needs to.
