Similar 2-up riding here weight wise with gf and 10y/o kiddo. Just a lil sluggish acceleration and up hills but no biggie for just around town. Yes, 14t front sprocket will help.

About to pick up a new Grom! Question, I am 5'10" 220. I want my son to ride with me if possible. He is 70ish pounds. It possible to ride two up on the Grom around town? Any experiences?

I shed a lot of oem equip weight. Also went on an advocare diet myself. Added a k&n open tb filter. First ride today and noticeable difference.
