About to pick up a new Grom! Question, I am 5'10" 220. I want my son to ride with me if possible. He is 70ish pounds. It possible to ride two up on the Grom around town? Any experiences?

You will have no problems riding two up. I'm 225 5'9, my lady is 5'6 135ish and we have gone on several long trips(150 miles)

Similar 2-up riding here weight wise with gf and 10y/o kiddo. Just a lil sluggish acceleration and up hills but no biggie for just around town. Yes, 14t front sprocket will help.

Thanks all! Got her up to 58 today. Sure hope when it breaks in I can get more speed out of her. I will NOT give up pizza and mexican food to get more speed! lol

I shed a lot of oem equip weight. Also went on an advocare diet myself. Added a k&n open tb filter. First ride today and noticeable difference.

I need to do the air box mod I guess then a full exhaust.
