Does anyone know what bulb type is in the grom? like a H4 or H7?

Don't really know but most like "H4" bulb type. The Thailand projector head light bulb is "H1S" its a triple flange like the "H4" . "H7" has single flange or base. But the US version has a different reflector inside the headlight and non-projector due to "DOT" Department of Vehicle Code. Hope this helps.

Woul the h4 fit in the h15 housing?
Yes, but need to do a little trimming. There is 2 little tabs on the bottom of the "projector type" headlight that you need to trim down, in order for it to be flush. But will work.

Has any1 tried putting an led bulb??? Did it work without a led relay?

I have an led bulb in my Thai light. I have done the DC conversion though. High beam is great. Low beam is OK. You can ride around with the high beam on without getting flashed. Need to try it in the OEM headlight to see how it compares.

do you sell the bulb? or link to it?

does your DC conversion plug into the back of that bulb?

looking for options on my thai headlight as well.
This installs on the rectifier plug located behind the right fairing and taps into the taillight wire.

I am going to test this light out on the factory headlight and then decide if it's a good option to sell. From talking to others they just want a decent amount of light that isn't blinding others. This will achieve that and it's efficient.

The high powered led bulbs are more than HID's though. They are smaller and you don't have to position any ballast igniters either.
Well I have both us spec and Thai so either is fine by me
Sounds good. I will let you know how it goes. Will try and get a light output with thai and US to show side by side.
