Yes! Grom on the road to Hana would be fun as well. Or up to Lahaina thru the back road back down to Kahului. Better yet, a perfect commuter all around Maui. I'll have to look into the rentals on my next stay there (my home away from home) \ooo/There's actually a place on Maui where you can rent groms and z125's. Motonosity did a video on it and they rented groms and went to Hana on them.
Rented Groms would get stolen so quickly on Oahu. Tourists on mopeds are the worst here. lol.Too bad the rentals don't stock Groms. I'll rent a Grom over a scooter any day. Would love to ride a Grom from Honolulu completely around the island. That would be awesome \ooo/
Yep use to surf Honolii, Bay Front, Richardsons, Black Sand Beach, Banyons, and other spots on the Big Island before moving to San Jose. I use to go out with one of the Botello girls that lived in Honokaa and I worked at Parker Ranch one summer doing posting and fixing fences and starting up the water pumps to fill up the truff with water and grain for the cattle, and some of those hills in Waimea I use to ride/slide down the hill on cardboard when the grass was green and fresh.Big island was up
No matter what tire you use esp in Hilo with the rain, it is better to use the Michelin Power Pure and 140/70-12 for the rear is ok and 120/70-12 for the fronts. For less cost try the Shinko 007 140/70-12 for the rear and 110/70-12 for the front is ok.what tire good for hilo side, i ride from pahoa everyday so alot a flat but still need to lean hard. plus get heavy rain sometimes......
