The stock bars are simply too high for this guy. I want to keep the 7/8" bar. Anyone running the renthal road bends? I'm leaning towards the mid bend. Then what grip style do you like? I'm not sure if I want to go the mx type or road type and keep bar ends on there. Then levers and mirrors?! This madness has endless possibilities.

I had the renthal road High. They were too low for me. I have a set of KLX bars on the bench that I will probably use because they are about an inch taller. Check my build thread for bar info. I have tried a couple.

Ive been looking at clipons too... has anyone played with this to check clearance at full turn... I dont really want to drop cash and find I create a big problem about fitment needing to adjust ride height etc to solve.... though I would consider it if I had access to a workshop for sure... push the forks up through the tripple tree enough to mount the clipons. Ive never used clipons before, wanna see more pics that show fitment options/issues

I don't have a pic ,but my Klx bars are the bomb dot com for me. Im 6'4 and the are perfect for my Mx background ride style ( I ride safe,but am fully aware of what my bike and I are of capable of).Basicly it looks and feels like you riding a mini hypermotard if you like an aggressive style these maybe for ya.....Don't be scared..come into the light

Pics when you get everything sorted? Still trying to find something that might work. Limited build experience, so I haven't played with any before to know what might work. If I'm reading spec sheets correctly, the tubes are 31mm, so most clip on manufacturers don't make them that small but require you to buy an additional adapter insert. Anyone have any idea on that?

I have renthal fat bars. CR/Suzuki Highs I think.
With renthal clamps. I love this set up. Feels great, better handling and less vibrations. I wanted to go as low as I can, but it still feels high. It's perfect IMHO!
