Got a Call, picking mind up next week, price did go up $200 for this year to $3,199 before all the add on Santa Clara Sales tax, setup fee, and all the other Bend over fees. Looking at $3,900 OTD.

My original price was $3,600 OTD verbal, nothing written down and now they are saying because of this new year everything is CONTROLLED by HONDA USA and not by overseas HONDA Japan. Corporate HONDA USA decides if the dealers can up the price and since they have no competition yet they Got you by the BALLS.

Data gathering reason to buy a new Grom because I can set the baseline before I mod the Grom both body wise and engine wise. I want to control my baseline and as I add the mods I like to add to the information so others can decide from my data gathering if they want to do the same mods or not. Coming from a engineering back ground and old Navy training I like a clean slate or canvas to work with.

I have been calling around to dealers, only 1 out of 6 have raised their price to 3199 from 2999. I wonder why some have an some haven't?

Meah... I paid a little over $3800 OTD so $3900 OTD sounds fine to me. Some paid less some paid more. Pretty sure we are all happy.

yep we in Santa Clara have to pay 8.75% sales tax plus setup fee $250 plus BEND OVER FEE which is what ever the Dealer wants.

What I don't understand is that I will be penalized the new price rate because HONDA USA screwed up on not buying enough GROMS for the market place last year so I get put on a waiting list even thou I was willing to buy one cash last year for a price of $3,600 even though I know these same Groms are selling in Thailand where my friend lives for $2,300 OTD.

Well enough rant.

Check the Honda website. $2999.00 price is gone-now $3,199.00 for new Groms. Still a good price.
