Hate to call this a build thread as the bike it built ha ha,,so I like to think of it more as a mod thread.

So lights came from e-bay..21$ and change shipped for all 4..went cheap because I was not sure what i wanted,,and only know i wanted something didfferent.I saw some real nice lights someone posted but for 100 a set,HAHA,,uhhh i'llgo cheap for now,,hell even if these suck i can buy alot of them for 100 bucks.I will admit the 100 set did look a bit better.
Since its in the pic I also trimmed the rear fender.I liked the look of it with out all the crap,,was not so sure I liked it any better with out the rear fender. So because everyone seemes to take there fender off I opted with the keep and shave option.

I like my builds to be different than everone elses and I see you do too. One flush mount and one stock turn signal is very unique indeed. Maybe you should try a white wall tire in the rear and a nobby in the front? :tongue3:

This thing is way to quiet!! so with new exhaust hitting the market and with all of them more money then i want to spend on somthing i'm not sure i want i modded the stock exhaust.I just want some sound till spring,,I hope by then I will decide what I wanted, the cost might come down, and there might be more better options on the market. So I came up with the till spring exhaust.ha ha
I wont go into too much detail because I posted it in the how to section,,and because you can see what I took off on the right,,and what i did on te left i'll just post a few pics of the during and the finish. If you have instagram you can hear a video there. I go by barnyardn40s Auto part

So because I saved some cash on the lights I got some mirrors. The options will make a guys head spin..lol Soooooo I again went cheap.Cheap is good because my feelers won't get hurn when I drop or crash my grom,,yes I plan for it,,,It will happen ha ha..
I am super happy with how they look and location..I may play with where they are later but for now,,the function of the location is awesome!!. Land vehicle Motorcycle Vehicle Motor vehicle Car

Did an intake on the grom over the weekend. I wanted to put the intake on the left side of the bike,,so at first I tried to rotate my throttle body. While it will flip 180% the throttle cable had a funny kink in it whe the bars turned all the way to the left. While it did not affect anyhting,,It just was funky and I did'nt care for it much.So I put it back where it was and went another route. here you can see the throttle body while my trusty pit rescue helps. so after finding a hose I got it mounted up.It fit behind the plastic quiet nice for those worried about rain.Would actually make those cool side vents function. Engine Auto part Motor vehicle Vehicle Automotive engine part

I didnt go this route ether but its totally doable.I ended up going the ram air route.lol cause air ram on a bike this fast,,Why not right?
So rotated it more,,trimmed the plastic a touch and called it good.

For the air temp sensor I moved it to the other side of the bike and found a little filter in my boxes of motorcycle junk to keep it safe and free of crap for the most part. I reset the ecu when I was done and took her for a rip..It felt like she had alot more snap.

I'm no expert, but shouldn't the air temperature sensor be inserted into the side of your new intake hose?

I didnt really see what difference it made.Air temp is air temp.I dont see there being any real difference as to in the air tube as to out of the air tube. Its got fresh air either way,the temp more likely is going to be the same both ways..Its not a aif flow meter,,just temp so really where ever its put as long as its away from heat for an accurate reading its going to be fine.
Very nice setup. Where did you find that tube?
Thanks philip..its a driver side lower radiator hose from an 05 pontiac gto.I'm sure you can find somthing close at an auto parts store. Most will let you go through there hoses.I just happen to have one laying around..after some trimming worked out nice.
no pics but over the weekend added a 14tooth front sprocket..Love it!!.I think for sure a 13 would be too low for long distance,I could see around town it would be fun butthe 14 is awesome in the wind and hills..Very much worth the 8$!!
