well if you are waiting for a Grom in Northern Calif it looks like Late Dec or Late Jan 2014 when these Groms are coming in.

By then I should have all my white plastic parts that I bought from Tyga painted. I will also have the spare honda Grom wheels painted and the Michelin tires mounted before I get my grom in.

Did a re-check on the waiting list, number two at Berkeley and number 8 at Hollister, so I'll continue with the collection of parts and painting of parts.

cisco have you not seen some of the used groms for sale?

i bought my used in the bay area, drove about 1hour 15 to get it, and it was under the OTD price he paid, (i have his invoice) - in fact i got it offa him with less then 10 miles and saved about 500-600 off price he paid.

keep a lookout deals are to be had, ive seen a few pop up some with some really nice mods, for less then what i paid for my used all stock grom

checked around and most are asking $3,800-$4,100 range. I can wait for the new one since I'm doing a lot of custom painting and mods on parts I already got.

I really don't understand. I have seen at least 10 groms for sale with in 100 miles from you. All 3000 or less. Most had less than 200 miles and after market parts on them. I also have seen 3 people bail on dealers because they scored used for less than 3000. So if you really want one they are available today. Visiting friends in LA and dealers local have 2 on floor.

I've seen the same thing here in NY...a couple have popped up on craigslist, always asking stupid money though. I saw one with a few hundred miles and a couple bolt on mods being hocked for $5k. Predictably it's still there reposted every few days.

This sort of thing happens all the time with popular new models. Good luck finding a new Stingray corvette for anything close to the sticker price. It's fairly common in the Harley world as well especially when the more popular models get redesigned.

Hey my friend who moved from the Bay Area to NY got his corvette Stingray before I will get mind. He was luck enough to sell his house In Sunnyvale Calif in 1/2 hr after on the market at more than asking price $800,000 so when he arrived in NY he went down to the dealer and paid cash for his stingray. I asked him why NY to move to with all that snow and he said because his wife wanted to be closer to her parents. The guy already has a copper/gold color vett and I guess he either traded it in or gave it to his wife.

Here is my friend Dave's Stingray. He lives in Rochester, New York. Short stocky white dude. I assume the snow is keeping his vet garaged
