.Grom SF Yoshimura RS2 Full Systems have arrived and are now IN STOCK.

So of course, w
e will be test fitting this to the "OG" Original Grom, to see if there is anyway to "MAKE IT FIT".

Stay tuned.

Here is the INSTALL Video and Sound Clips on the Grom SF

Saved nearly 6lbs on the Grom SF.

That thing has a crazy looking "snake" of the pipe underneath. Very interesting way to retain the length of the high mount and the look of a low mount.
I have a CB1000R with a Yoshi pipe low mount, and it swirls around underneath almost like this one. Must be a good way to keep the length and performance. My pipe on my other bike performs great.

Worked well! one thing, the stock SF exhaust mount has a rubber bung to deaden vibration. My moriwaki which hangs somewhat similarly also has that. You could find this will tickle your foot to sleep over a longer ride.

Any reason you couldn't fit SF stock footrests to an earlier bike?

For me this also bring up the fact SF rearsets will need to be redesigned.

Man, that RS2 exhaust is sexy! IMO, best looking low mount exhaust of them all. I may just have to replace my RS9 exhaust for one of these :p

Good reference vid, HR! I personally like the idea of a bracket, similar to the one you show in the vid. Second option would be the U-clamp idea.

As for a spacer between the muffler hanger and mounting bracket, I suggest a rubber bushing. It will help dampen any vibration to the rear-set. You can purchase a rubber bushing at any auto or ACE hardware, or possibly any other home improvement store.

Agreed. I really like my TwoBrothers exhaust, but man, I really really like this Yoshi pipe, plus it matches the exhaust I have on my other bike. My bikes already look like each others big and little brother, so this exhaust would really seal the deal. I must have....

We have confirmed our ENGINE SUPPORT BRACE will fit with this exhaust. BUT... one of the springs will be a tight fit. Probably be a good idea to swap it out for Safety wire, instead.

Awesome vid!

I've got a new low-mount Arrow full exhaust coming for mine and I have the Driven rearsets as well. Going to have to look at my options as I need the ground clearance over the stock pegs.

Is it possible to get a dB killer for this exhaust in case it is too loud?
.

Not sure what you mean..?

Do you mean In addition to the db killer that already comes with the exhaust?

Sorry - using terminology I am not familiar with. On the Yoshi website it describes spark arresters for some dirt exhausts that are supposed to make the exhaust quieter. Perhaps you are now suggesting this is already in the original exhaust? Bottom line is...is there a way of making the RS-2 quieter so that it does not attract too much attention?
