Just wanted to throw up a shout out to Grom pilot. He hooked me up with a set of KLX bars and I needed to say THANKS in public.:in love:

Haven't installed yet. Had three sets on in the past four weeks so I am kind of burnt out on changing bars. Plus these are silver. I am going to paint them black before I do the install but to date, no one who has installed the KLX bars has had anything negative to say about them.

what bars have you used already and why didn't you like them? which have less sweep angle? thats what im looking for something like honda mini pro tapers but with less than stock sweep back angle..

First I tried Pro Taper School Boy High - WAY too low. They put all my weight on my wrists and worse, all of my weight on the front tire in the canyons. No balance. But they looked super cool on the bike. Then I tried Renthal Road High - MUCH better. I rode with them for a bit but still they were just a tad to low for me. Just felt like too much weight on my wrists, especially under breaking.

The KLX bars are about 1 inch taller than the Rental Road High. They should be just about perfect. Look at my build thread "Black Betty." I posed photos of all the the bars I have tried to date.

So stock to PT and then PT to Renthal and then Renthal back to stock.

Oh Yeah, one more thing, the KLX bars have less sweep than stock if that is what you are looking for.

Hey Slick Rick ,I'm stoked you got those bars and like them. I'm running them on my Ruck and both groms ( Me and my Chickies) and the body position feels like my hyper motard and made my bike super flickable in the cornors. It might not be for everyone but for me at 6'4 and 200 it's perfect body postion for me(Mx rider 32 years).The shout out is very thoughtful .....I don't always post on Honda Grom.net, but when I do, I drink Dos Equies....Grom on my friends ..Grom on
