Current mods:

Hindle Exhaust
Koso chain tensioner
KITACO Clutch Cover
Chimera Short Ram Air Intake
Oil pump
HardRacing Shift Shaft Support Bracket
Koso dash
Koso clutch
Koso plate
Koso North America BA038900 DB-03R Gauge Assembly
Dynojet PCV5 and Autotune

Is there any reason to get the DHM over the Grom Fatherz or the other way around?

DHM.

the GFz kit uses DHM piston and retainers, he has a different cam of unknown specs so it can't be compared to anything. He also offers the springs which really seem to be unnecessary. As are the lash caps with a TB cam. Also lash caps are like $7ea and not $40 for a pair.

DHM could also come with the flashed ECU which will work better for 0-80% Throttle where the PCV doesn't tune. The PCV can further tune 80-100% throttle or be sold to recoup some cost on the hard parts.

I dont think I would run the autotune, but you could use the flashed ecu as a better base map and the PC to fine tune it. You would probably need a dyno though.

I would just run the flashed ecu and sell the dynojet.

The DHM Stage 3 kit has been ordered and my ECU has been shipped.
How is the high comp piston working out for you?

I'm debating getting one and comparing against one of the simpler BBKs like a 143 or 170, 186 etc... (I already have CJR flash, intake, exhaust and TB cam).

I've seen a lot of posts on the facebook group of people cracking the HC piston on the 22+. I'm curious about an update too. Do the 22+ and older gens use the same HC piston?
Per DHM:

The piston size is different, the OG uses a 52.4mm piston and the 2022+ uses a 50mm piston.
