The problem you'll have with the OEM decals, is that the background isn't clear - it's the color of whatever panels it's intended to go on. Since you mentioned that you just had your plastics painted, you're going to be better off, going with an aftermarket decal that is either die-cut, so each letter is a separate decal, with no backing, or that it has a clear backing, allowing for any non-OEM colors, to show through.
