Was the first to put deposit at NYC Honda in Queens and got first bike that arrived in dealership (36-02 38th St Long Island City). Dealer called me this morning so I went out and got it. $3300 OTD Price. Was kind of surprised they didn't tried to get any extra $ from me considering we are in the Sin City and that he have 12 people wait list. There was another Grom in black with large sign "SOLD" on it.

First impression is that the bike a bit bigger then expected but wheels are just as small as I was predicting.

Anybody who would buy this bike would have PROBLEMS getting around because THERE'S WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE WHO WANT TO TALK WITH YOU. Really, after being stopped at every block, I took it home and will be riding this bike strictly at night, like a batman ...

Congrats on your purchase.

Called my dealer again to see how far down on the list I am, still at number 7, so he said next year maybe for me to see my GROM, no problem I can wait.

Ride safe, nice living alarm system you have there.
I have two dogs and my parrot is meaner than the dogs. I think my parrot thinks it's a PIT BULL dog since it use to hang around with my PIT BULL before the Pit passed away at 13-14 yrs old.

The most important question is, did this bike JUST come in or was it sent 2 weeks ago and has been at the dealer?? If it is new arrival, that means there is a new batch! The last batch showed up in almost the entire country at the same time in the middle of August.

donno if it's first or second batch, my dealer is not what you call powerhouse so maybe that's the reason why it arrived only this week. As for the chance it was sitting at dealership then I can assure you that it's not the case bcos I pass this dealership on my way to work every day and everybody there got sick of me stopping by every day in Aug and Sept. I literary know every person in that dealership now, know names of there's wifes and how many kids they have, names of there's dog etc etc etc.

BTW my friend who put deposit on Grom back in springtime together with me just flaked out (he's about to become daddy) , so anybody around our area who wants Grom right away, let me know ASAP and I can arrange for you to have it tomorrow (obviously free of charge ***)
***free of charge for place in line not for the bike that you will buy from dealer not me.

Sounds like a new batch then. Getting bikes distributed by truck anywhere in the US is not the problem. The problem has been no bikes. These 2 must be new bikes cause there has been no activity for over a week other than occasionally someone finding one in some more remote Honda dealer that has been around for a week or two. I am encouraged. Have fun on the new bike.

Next thing I did ... got The Grom. More animal driving ahead LOL
