Hi guys,

Been stalking the threads on this forum for quite some time now, and finally decided to join as a member myself. As the title says, I'm giving up my baby, my 2003 Honda NSR 125R to make room for a Grom, our 7 year relationship over! So if the Grom is not as fun as you all say, im holding everyone of you responsible ;)

Loving the builds and custom work some of you have going on, hoping to do a few bits to mine - although I will admit to knowing nothing about engines or general mechanics. Though a little handy when your neighbours a bike mechanic ;)

Already looking at tail tidy's, stretching kits, lowering kits and all sorts! So yeah hey everyone, may eventually put my own build thread up, see how it goes!

Thanks man! And yeah I've already got a pretty hefty list of mods, just trying to work out which fender eliminator to use with a Yoshumura RS-9 full system, so if anyones got any ideas that would be great!

I did a track-day with a gentleman parked next to me with a NSR. Our first session out (being novice at the time) was by groups of 4 with a control rider. My group, 675 Triumph,Hayabusa, R6, GSXR-750 and this NSR. As we got staged to go the guy on the NSR realizes he is too far over in the pit lane; stands up and picks the back of his bike completely off the ground moves it over the foot and half or so he needed. I guess up until that moment I didn't really have a firm grab on how small and light those really are. The rest of the day he was moving along pretty quickly. For road use the Grom will shine in it's own ways. Welcome aboard!
