Gear Indicator for the Grom.

We are working with a manufacturer to make a plug-n-play Gear indicator for the Grom.

We know it's only got 4 gears.

But, it's always nice NOT to be ghost shifting into 5th.

Sub. $99 price range

Is this something that would intrest you guys ?

Nope! The shift light annoys the hell out of me. I listen to the bike & shift when I want to.

It looks nice and clean, but I wouldn't buy one simply because I know how to count to four and always know what gear I'm in-- on a bike or in a car. Also helps to know how many rounds you have left in your mag. Counting. Not just for grade school anymore.

Oh. My buddy got an indicator for his Zx and it required you to install 2 magnets at the gear shifter then hard wire them to something else. We both looked at each other and laughed.

What's the shift light like on this anyway? My zx6r had a shift light that I set to rapidly blink right before red line. I was able to adjust the blink pattern as well as what rpm it kicked on at. It was a neat feature but wasn't much use past 3rd and occasionally 4th gear... (or if speed limits were my thing it wouldn't have even helped in first)

I have one on mine from a different company, Protec. Completely plug and play. Works perfectly.
