Hi guys,

Picked up my new grom this Saturday and I have only noticed that the front indicator lights both stay on all the time. I personally think there is something wrong and it's a accident waiting to happen.

Can any of you guys confirm if this is normal?

Yes. They are ON anytime the bike is ON. They Blink when you signal. Otherwise on as long as the bike is running
Read it wrong on my iPhone. Thought he meant they only stayed on and never flashed. I did something goofy to mine when I wired up some LEDs on the back and when I hit the switch it stayed on without flashing. Bought a relay and that fixed it. Was thinking Khauff might have bad wiring from the factory.

Thanks for all the quick replys folks greatly appreciated.

Also popped in by the dealers and they have confirmed the lights stay on all the time and flash when turn signal is activated. I personally hate this feature as it's not normal, just confusing other motorists in my area especially at roundabouts.

Anyone know how I may be able to deactivate this feature? Maybe all it needs is a snip of a wire any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Same here in Norway, but I'm not sure it's legal. I know you need to remove the feature if you import American cars here.

Personally I'll ride with it until stopped, then have the dealer deal with it

In the meantime I removed the bulb and noticed its a double filament as already mentioned in above post. So I used insulating tape and covered one of the bulb terminals and voila no marker light on start up and the indicator works a treat.

Happy that I didn't need to go about snipping the marker light wire.
