I bought a Grom from another forum member and he brought it down to Austin today. (Thanks boompats!)

I made a little video of my first ride. I haven't owned/ridden a real motorcycle in 2 years, so I'm a little rusty. Also, everything was cold - bike, tires, track, rider. My technique is terrible, I'm positive.

Air temp - 39° F, Track temp - 49° F

This is no fooling the first 3.4 miles I ever rode on this bike. Also, it's cold (though not as cold as other places, holy crap) so this is so far the ONLY 3.4 miles I've ridden. I don't actually have any cold weather riding gear.

GP Grom class this year?Moto 3.5. Went to the GP race last year. Very nice place. Will be back again this year.

A Grom race would be a hoot. The Red Bull rookies cup is run on 125cc machines but they're rocking 5x the horsepower (at least according to wikipedia)

It's odd to see those guys in the paddock. They ought to be in school

should help setup a track day jk, I'm sure after insurance and everything each person would have a entrance fee of well over 1k on a track of that caliber!

That was exactly what I was going for. I wanted viewers to think "Oh, great. A garage door. Doesn't this guy know how to edit... wait a minute. Is that a race track? Hmmmm, I saw a MotoGP race on this track."
