Is the clutch upgraded? Does it have a clutch cover that incorporates an oil filter? Will you have to run an oil cooler with this motor? $2400 seems steep but I actually think that's not a bad deal when you start adding up what it costs to take a stock Grom motor to that level, not including the man hours.

235cc BBK is 67mm x 64.9

It does have a 3mm plate for the additional stroke.

Is the stroke 64.9 or 65.9? If you use 64.9mm for the stroke instead of 65.9mm for the calculation, the displacement comes out to be 228.81cc and if you use 65.9mm it comes out to be 232.34cc...........My point is that I have the 65.9mm stroke with my set up :)............I can order the jug, piston, and rings from you guys and get the extra displacement! Is the piston a flat top or dome and does it have the same sized wrist pin?

Clarification from Finbro.

Stroke is 64.9
Piston Bore is 67mm

Flat Top piston Valves are 33mm / 28 mm

Thanks for the update! I did not realize that the intake and exhaust valves were larger with this set up but it makes perfect sense! The Mad Scientist (Awriut) sure knows his stuff!

yea and if someone would send him a Takagawa 181 4v head he will work his magic to make the 218cc or the 235 to work with that head.

Just a hint to people that have a spare Takagawa 4v head laying around.
