Just got taxied back by my dealer after the grom died doing a 'top' speed run.. Engine lost its compression, so it is or the cam, valve or broken piston..

I'm urgently looking for the next upgrade. Anything available NOW except Kitaco? Takegawa is difficult to get. If I cannot find anything in a week, I will slap on a 150 from yumi....
Anyone already dealt with Sex Machine Racing?
I'm also in contact with the orange respol bike owner, but his english is not so super so I'm waiting for my thai buddy to translate and ask him where he got his engine..

I'm afraid it will take too long to wait for the KickAss kit (unless brian wants an extra tester here in europe )
My bike is used by honda europe so turn around time needs to be as low as possible

Isn't it under warranty?

If not buy a stock everything that is broken from Babbitt Honda and rebuild or send your parts in to BrianS and get the 170cc kit

you think you used the wrong A/F mapping before it went Boom. Sounds like a heat related lack of oil type failure. What oil "dino or synthetic"

I really hope you ran a tuner with the cam upgrade.. its a must..

Tuner was not available yet at the time.. It might have run rich..we'll see when it is pulled apart, but i think it is going to be a valve

Keep us posted on your findings. Are you doing the work yourself or having the dealer do it? I know you mentioned getting a tow from the dealer.

Dealer.. Is easier.. Add ons i do myself, saturday we planned to do the front suspension (race tech), but that will have to wait

oww brian.. I just literally ordered a complete kit 5 min ago before checking the forum again.
Now, in the event this one blows up...
Does suck a bit..but I made a verbal deal and a deal is a deal to me

150cc kit, but I also asked the price for 202 and 230cc kits they sell

Turned out it was a bent valve.. Pictures when im behind a pc.
Just dropped of the new engine, 150cc with bigger valve head, cam, springs.. 16hp it did with their ecu.
Bought everything from Monkey Father (facebook)
