Engine dying on 6+ mile rides

Had no issues with my HONDA GROM 2016 up until a couple weeks ago. Engine completely seized but it was my fault and recognised the issue by replacing the piston and cylinder head, which fixed the issue...
But later that day no more than 6 hours later it broke down again, this time the engine is able to attempt to turn over but wouldn't start, trying to bump start would create a depressing sound of the engine attempting to start.

Once I'd walked what felt like a marathon home I found that the plug had pretty much blown up/melted (the engine was extremely hot even up until i was home).
After replacing the plug the bike started up fine and I thought nothing more of it..

Yesterday whilst on a ride probably around 6 miles in the bike started to bog, instantly pulled over and let it cool down. Was smoke coming off of it however this was from the heat wrap actually melting on the exhaust (which is now removed). Luckily the bike started up after cooling down but I was unable to ride over 45mph all the way
home.
I can ride 60+mph when I first start my rides.

Could this be a possible fuel pump issue? or should I invest in an oil cooler for the grom?

Any help is appreciated.

We need more info! How many miles are on the bike? Have you ever changed the oil? Have you ever cleaned the spinner or the oil screen? It kind of sounds like it's not lubricating properly. If you've already torched one cylinder and piston, did you figure out why?

Update? Issue still persists? Did you do an oil change ?
