To Whom It May Concern:

I've had FMF on almost everything that I have owned as long as it sounded good, gained power and was available for my machines. With the previous being said I had a '00 XR50(fmf powercore), '05 CRF50/88R(POWERCORE 4), '07 CRF50/88R(powercore 4). Your pipe sounded soo amazing on my 88 racehead and gained gobs of torque. I loved it. I want you to know that you will have a sale on your hands and probably many more judging from the buzz I am seeing from everyone that has the Grom/MSX125. We want to see it......Sooooo what do you say? Will you give it to us?

Thanks

Ron
I hope they jump on board. I love their sounds :(

I emailed them last week and they told me on

November 6th (from Michael Moyer)
"Hello Craig,

At this time, we do not have a release date but an exhaust for the Grom is definitely in the works. Please check the website as it will be the first place updated with the new information.

Thanks,
FMF Racing"

And in September, I was told it was going to be the Apex style exhaust and was going to be released "real soon" but it is now two months later...

Keep in mind several manufacturers are just now getting bikes to R&D and build off of.

We know alot of sport bike guys that get to know their local muffler shop very well and have lots of custom stuff bent, welded and fitted.

One of our guys used to work for Junior Johnson "back in the day" and their motto was " beat it to fit, paint it to match" LOL

That's kinda crappy on FMF. They have already made and tested a 4.1 for the grom. There is a guy on instagram running it in so cal, and even the owner of FMF commented on it saying exact hp numbers etc that there are getting in regards to their header. I don't know why they would be playing the top secret card.

They aren't trying to be secret. Most people there don't have much of an idea what the guys out in the shop are doing. Especially for new motorcycles. To get a production run there are lots of things that must align. Be patient, FMF will come through....

Also understand that they are likely not pushing hard to get things out asap as there isn't much money to make from the GROM exhaust. The numbers just aren't there....

Wow. That's just some poor customer service. If it was that close, it could have been checked before saying basically 'you are on your own' by them.

now I'm on the fence between this and the TwoBros pipe. I wish FMF had posted numbers with it. Guess it is a good thing I'm stuck in the middle of the ocean for the next three weeks while others buy and test it!

It looks kind of big, and it has a big price tag to go with it.

The full system is cheaper than TwoBros and a full carbon Yoshimura...both those go for $530

In my humble opinion, people who complain about aftermarket prices, shouldn't be complaining nor looking for aftermarket parts. We didn't buy these things (motorcycles in general) to save money, so why not waste your money in the most fun way possible for you?
