Flasher Custom L.E.D. ELFR-1

After reading for hours and what did and didn't work, i was able to figure out which relay works with all 4 led lights. Again MNTHBX helped me out and mentioned that this was a good choice. Its works great. this is how you do it.

1.remove 4 bolts holding head light on. remove.

2. re-move flasher that it top of headlight assay.

3. back prong connectors out of factory whit connector.

4. take new relay cut wires and solder on male flat terminals to wires

5. plug the black wire into the white and the red into the black.
shrink wrap terminals and tape.

6 . mount new relay on the old bracket with a small bolt and nylon.

VIDEO IF THEM WORKING

no running light. But you can get led front turn that have three wires so that you can have running light, i just don't like running lights.

I wired them to the factory connectors that i cut off the old turn signals. took 5 mins. i just didn't connect the running light wire to anything.

I've been down this road hundreds of times. For clarity....

As the OP posted, the ELFR-1 units works, and is long proven. Not other options required. I'm sure you can get them all over, but here's the link I normally reference when asked... Custom LED Electronic Motorcycle Blinker Flasher Relay - Tobefast

If you run LEDs of any kind, but still have non-LED bulbs either front or rear a #552 flasher from the auto parts store is all you need. $3

If you run LEDs only, the ELFR-1 is the ticket. $19

Also note: This info pertains to any and all LED use, and is not specific to the MNNTHBX undertail.

Yeah, I wasn't sure either after reading, but I figured I'd give it a try myself for $12 shipped. Funny that it doesnt work for some? I just took out the old and plugged in the new.

I've never heard of one of these being bad. They're pretty much bombproof. If you're asking how to actually "fit" it, it's tiny, and can go anywhere. I put mine on a random bolt in that area. Zip ties work fine too. There's no wrong way to do it... Of note: On the Grom application, the two wires connect polar opposite of what would seem obvious. Even then, if you mess that up, nothing will be hurt.
